Job Description
The Merchandising Representative is responsible for a territory of 30-40 MCT stores, owning the order and merchandising processes to drive incremental sales for DNA and provide direction pertaining to category management insights

Store Execution
Responsible for DNA products and shelf conditions through below activities:

Work with Dairy Manager each week to insure ample inventory for normal and promotional volume
Maintain distribution of all authorized products within assigned territory and sell in incremental distribution.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel in order to meet both customer and DNA Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
Ensure that all store activity aligned to both Customer and DNA KPIs.
Be the Dairy Expert on DNA Categories in store.
Sell and merchandise displays, coolers and secondary locations.
Collaborate with store management to increase space and merchandising activities/programs allocated to the yogurt category
Maintain store shelf standards and inventory, including rotation of products.
Supply and place point of sale materials.
Assist in the design and implementation of shelf plan-o-grams (schematics, diagrams).
Maximize at-shelf availability and visibility across DNA?s portfolio of products.

Customer Development (Local/Regional level)
Influence local and regional decision makers at assigned customers in effort to influence local and regional strategies
Identify and build rapport with Customers' local and regional management teams.
Deliver store/market -specific strategies (in alignment with DNA?s national strategies)
Recognize and raise local needs to DNA?s Customer Business Manager (managing regional and national accounts) in effort to leverage business-building opportunities

Category Development
Translate category story (provided by DNA?s Category Management team) into well-developed action plan geared towards assigned accounts or stores within territory. Leverage and engage necessary resources to execute action plan to grow volume through incremental retail activities.

Entry Level position into the sales organization
Responsible for 15 stores.

Professional Experiences and Functional Competencies needed
4 Year College Degree (preferably in Business or related field)
Sales or Customer Service experience
Exposure to or strong interest in the grocery industry
Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong follow-up and attention to detail as well as planning and organizational Skills
Works well with others on the collaboration of common goals

Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel
Traveling/in the field 5 days per week
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Some physical labor required, including occasional lifting up to 50lbs
