CorTech is seeking to hire a Chemistry Core 3 Worker for our client in Milwaukee, WI! Description: Pay rate: $26.40 12 months - could extend onsite - 1st shift 8am-5pm chemist role prefers bachelor in chemistry Know the safety of handling chemicals is key Associates Degree plus relevant work experience Some college with relevant work experience Will accept fresh grads Work closely with experienced materials scientist to develop and validate new materials and processes. Able to perform standard chemical manufacturing techniques at a scale of 1-20 liters. Able to understand and execute written instructions for manufacture of chemicals, nanomaterials, and formulations; can aid in improvement of these processes and instructions. Able to work safely with toxic materials by using personal protective equipment including gloves and goggles. Able to troubleshoot problems that may arise during chemical reactions. Able to learn new analytical protocols and repeat the general process with different unknowns. Can learn how to interpret data obtained from analytical instruments. Excellent record keeping and laboratory notebook skills. Able to use MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Understanding of general scientific methods. Excellent written and oral communication abilities. | |
