Under the guidance of the Section Chief of the Unemployment Insurance Application Development Section, this position performs advanced application architecture work for various Unemployment insurance systems and UI Modernization projects. Well-qualified candidates will have very strong HANDS-ON DBA experience with large application systems, i.e. 1000+ programs, 300+ tables, and 8+ years in DB2/CICS/Oracle environments or equivalent. Also experience with large systems, or equivalent, using Platinum, ERWin, Omegamon, ChangeMan, CNTL-M, or like tools; and significant IT-related knowledge Responsibilities: - Recommends and maintains data management policy - Provides expert technical leadership to the applications development and technical staff - Can do data modeling, data fixes, performance tuning, analysis of query and indexes, analysis of data structure, and data definition, for the UI benefits system for both Oracle and DB2 databases. Qualifications: - Db2 V11 or V12 (8+ years' experience) - z/OS v2.1 or higher (3 years experience) - COBOL/SAS/CICS/.NE (8+ years' experience) - SQL & database performance Tuning and Expert level SQL experience is preferred - Previous work experience in government, claims, accounting, or unemployment insurance management systems is preferred Key Points: - Pay: $65/hr - $73/hr - Shift; Mon-Fri (8am-5pm) - Remote -Benefits: health, vision, dental, and 401k## | |
