CorTech is seeking to hire a EVS - Associate II for our client in Richmond, VA!

$15.28/Hour
2nd Shift

3PM - 11:30PM

Responsible for thoroughly cleaning all areas assigned to include patient room
bathrooms, ancillary areas, public areas, and other areas that may be assigned |
and disinfectants.

Ensure that all trash and linen is emptied and that containers are inspected for
areas.

Inspect vents, horizontal and vertical surfaces in assigned areas for cleanlir
assigned schedule or as needed.

Check all soap, hand sanitizer, lotion, paper towel and toilet paper dispenser:
Clean all high touch surfaces as listed on work schedule such as: door knobs/|
bed rails, telephones, over bed tables, etc.

Keep equipment and supplies clean, organized and in good working conditio|
Report any problems with equipment or supplies to immediate supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by Director or designee.

Attends General Hospital Orientation within 30 days of hire.

Participates in Departmental Orientation.

Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and to frequently push, +}
able to climb a ladder up to 6 feet. Is able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds and |
as 100 pounds {can be a team effort).

Comply with all HIPAA guidelines and ensure you remain confidential af
confidential information confidential.
Safety/Regulatory/Ethics

Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisor.

Always use wet floor signs when mopping or when a slip, trip or fall hazard
Keep Carts and Closets clean, organized and complaint with regulatory guide!

Maintain security of all medications by helping to ensure that ALL medications are stored
Client facilities. Access to secure areas containing medications is restricted to ONLY employ
in order to fulfill routine job duties. When job duties require access to these areas, it is yi
to ensure the security of medications by NEVER leaving the area unlocked when unattent

maintained at ALL times. Do NOT leave medications unattended for any reason. NEVER
these areas unless you are sure they are authorized to be there.
Complete all required logs.
Professional Appearance

Wears uniform properly (free of tears, wrinkles, etc. as per departmental pol

Departmental Engagement/ Communication

Operational Excellence

Provide a timely response to the cleaning of all patient discharge rooms and

room cleaning and STAT requests, OR/L&D/C-Section room cleaning and ST
other requested cleaning needs.

Ensure you have a communication device such as a spectra link or pager,

operation of the device at the start of shift.

Answer all pages/calis timely and accurately.

Report to work each day as scheduled and follow Human Resources tin
attendance policy when you will not be able to attend work or will not t
scheduled time.

Be at your work area within 15minutes of the start of your shift ready to wo
Notify your supervisor when out of your work area for any reason other than

unpaid).

Responds to all Teletracking System/Meditech System Alerts and follo
procedures for logging beds when completing discharges.

Adhere to all Departmental and Hospital Policies. All hospital and Department:

Utilize scripting to ensure consistent excellent customer service.

Use tent cards and other best practices as directed by Departmental Leaders

Immediately notify your supervisor if you do not understand or are unable

Floor Tech (Associate ll)
Perform Mopping, Burnishing/Buffing, Scrubbing, Stripping and Waxing of
departmental policy. Ensure all Floors are thoroughly dust mopped prior to
procedures.

EDUCATION:

Required High School Diploma or equivalent: excellent oral and written commu
