CorTech is seeking to hire a Warehouse First Line Supervisor for our client in Mount Clemens, MI! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $34.13/Hour Start Time: 10:00 PM End Time: 6:00 AM Qualifications: High School or GED required Bachelor?s Degree (B.A.) preferred At least 2 years of supervisory experience within a warehouse environment Five (5) years related operations/warehouse experience preferred Experience with SAP automated distribution systems. Excellent computer application skills with working knowledge of MS office (Excel, Word and Power Point). Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, improve quality. Ability to supervise, resource, and engage in work within a team environment by effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and reconcile diverse viewpoints within and between teams. Responsibilities: This will be a 3-6 month assignment based on business needs. The First Line Supervisor is responsible for the execution of the daily site plans and goals to ensure objectives are met on time while following all site safety rules and philosophy. The first line supervisor will plan, direct, coordinate, and audit the day to day activities to ensure customer and business goals are met. Effectively lead a team of warehouse employees with responsibility for all aspects of safety, product quality and operating efficiency. Must be willing to work flexible work hours. Establish clear performance expectations, monitor and provide periodic feedback to promote growth. Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively collaborate to build solid business relationships with other functional areas that best supports customer and business objectives. Consistently demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, integrity and relationship management skills. Motivate, influence and positively affect / embrace / drive change. Exercise good analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Organize, prioritize and multi-task while meeting and/or exceeding deadlines. Participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen activities. Responsible for the execution of production schedule/ priority list and the communication of status. Lead daily line up meetings to share key information related to AOE/Performance Management Boards (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost, and People). Identify and train employees where needed to support task. Adheres to the Client Way behaviors. Is responsible for coaching, counseling, career development and recognition of employees, as appropriate. Monitors the performance of personnel and takes corrective action when necessary to maintain established company, site, or Client Way standards. Ensures maintenance activities are supporting area objectives. | |
