DESCRIPTION: Production Scheduler PURPOSE: Plans, schedules, coordinates and monitor the flow of products through the production process. Provides timely planning and scheduling of production work orders to the manufacturing floor to ensure customer demands are met and those goods are produced in an efficient and timely manner JOB DUTIES: ?- Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of products. Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates to meet customer orders. ?- Analyses production specification and plant capacity data and performs calculations to determine manufacturing processes and resource requirements. ?- Plans and schedules workflow for operation according to established manufacturing sequences and lead time. - Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. ? - Prepares production reports. ? - Coordinate transfer of materials from suppliers. ? - Maintains record keeping systems. SHIFT AVAILABLE : 1st shift : 7AM - 3PM ; periodic weekends are mandatory SKILLS/QUALIFICATION: - 5 yrs of manufacturing planning experience - Previous experience in ERP software production - excellent communication skills - Computer proficiency with an emphasis in MS Office/MS Excel | |
