Pay Rate - $48-60/hr 1st Shift: 10am-2pm US/Pacific Job Description About The Team The Team: Legal and Compliance department is a team of skilled and energetic professionals who enjoy working in a collegial environment to help the client achieve its mission with excellence and integrity. The Program/Project Management Office function is dedicated to implementing and providing innovative tools and resources that empower Legal and Compliance team members to do their best work. About The Role Seeking a highly effective project manager to lead projects across Legal and Compliance. You will work with every team within Legal and Compliance, gain exposure to many different subject matter areas, project types, and personalities. You will work and build relationships with attorneys, paralegals, privacy professionals, and others throughout the department, as well as other project managers and business contacts in product development, IT, sales, operations, and other teams across the company. The successful candidate in this role will become everyone?s favorite person, known for getting things done well on time, every time. Create, maintain and disseminate project charters, project timelines and change management plans, and project status reports to stakeholders. ? Drive effective partnership, change management, collaboration and commitment across multiple internal and external teams with competing priorities. ? Closely work with partners to understand and identify key interdependencies and critical roadblocks, identify potential issues, and appropriately align with the needs of the organization. ? Anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. ? Articulate vision and influence decisions, empowering teams to be owners of continuous improvement. ? Support management?s ability to assess and report on the success of project plans. ? Operate with strong integrity with the ability to handle projects of a sensitive and confidential nature. Who You Are We are looking for a proven project manager with 6-8 years? experience in managing project scope, timelines, and effective delivery of products, process implementation or services, preferably with some time spent leading projects for legal and compliance teams. Qualifications: ? Excellent project management skills, business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done ? Strong grasp of project management fundamentals to be able to jumpstart projects quickly ? Proficiency with project management software, such as Smartsheet and Jira ? PMP, and/or similar certifications from an accredited organization strongly preferred ? Detail-oriented but with an ability to shift to higher level thinking that can span across projects covering the entire organization ? Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to be hands on in both project development and in ongoing execution of project management ? Ability to work with individuals at all levels in the organization and build strong relationships with business partners ? Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment Experience: Must have a min of 6+ years PM experience. PNP cert is preferred but if they have a significant amount more exp and don?t have the PNP ? that?s preferred. Change management skills because they are doing lots of process improvements IT and non IT projects: product focused Highly collaborative (better together), attention to detail Waterfall methodology (mostly) not too much documentation though BS degree required Soft skills: Detail oriented a must! Highly collaborative, not afraid to reach out and dig for details to find solutions, Software: Smartsheet a plus MS Project a must Jira, Asana ? both a plus | |
