Job Title: Food and Beverage Steward Location: Black Hawk, Colorado Pay: $12 - $14/HR PLUS TIPS Work Authorization: US Citizen/ Green Card Job Summary: We are currently seeking a diligent Food and Beverage Steward for our casino located in Black Hawk, CO. This role involves maintaining cleanliness, dishwashing, waste management, and kitchen equipment maintenance, along with support to the food service staff. As a steward, your responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and providing an enjoyable experience for our guests. Responsibilities: - Cleaning tables, filling ice, emptying trash, transporting bus tubs to the kitchen. - Sanitizing pots and pans, and floor cleaning according to the State issued guidelines. - Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas, including kitchen and dining areas. - Support food service staff and assist in various kitchen tasks as needed. - Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies. - Use cleaning chemicals according to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) regulations. - Handle biohazard cleanup when required. - Perform other duties as assigned, delegated, or directed. Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in a food and beverage position. - Proven experience and knowledge in food and beverage service. - Food Safety Certification is a plus. - Ability to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays. - Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and push/pull up to 400 lbs.
