Pay: $12 - $14/HR PLUS TIPS
Location: Black Hawk, Colorado

Referral Bonus: $50 for anyone referred who works at least 60 days.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for a Steward position at our casino in Black Hawk, CO. The Steward is a crucial part of our food and beverage team, ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and efficient operations within all F&B areas. This includes assisting in dishwashing, cleaning, waste management, equipment maintenance, as well as supporting food service staff as required. The Steward ensures compliance with all health and safety regulations and contributes to delivering an excellent guest experience.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out dishwashing duties, ensuring cleanliness and proper organization of dishes, utensils, and glassware.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, dining areas, and all food service locations, in line with health and safety standards.
- Handle waste management tasks: collect and dispose of garbage, empty trash receptacles, and keep waste disposal areas clean and organized.
- Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment and appliances to ensure their longevity and efficiency.
- Manage food and beverage supplies, restocking ingredients, beverages, and other necessary items as needed.
- Provide vital support to the kitchen and food service staff, including assisting with basic food preparation, plating, and presentation when required.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests, ensuring their service is prompt, efficient, and satisfactory.
- Strictly adhere to food safety regulations, health codes, and company policies related to cleanliness and sanitation.
- Implement proper hygiene practices to maintain a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors or other designated personnel promptly.
- Attend training sessions, meetings, or workshops as required, to ensure continuous professional development.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the F&B industry preferred.
- Sound knowledge of sanitation and safety practices in a food service setting.
