We're currently recruiting for a skilled Food Service Worker in Blacksburg, VA. Pay: $15.17 per hour (paid weekly) Schedule: 6:30 am-2:30pm, 11:30 am-7:30 pm shifts and days will vary, weekends Duties/Responsibilities: - Operates a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain, season and knead foodstuffs for cooking, serving and storing. - Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage. - Cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment following all Sodexo, client and regulatory rules and procedures. - Provides general stocking duties in service area. - Complies with all client's policies and procedures. - May work anywhere on property where food is prepared.
