Description

Under the supervision Manufacturing Facilitator or designee operates all the filling and labeling machines as well as auxiliary equipment to produce Bactec products. Performs set-up and cleaning of equipment. Maintains Equipment under own responsibility in good conditions. Notifies immediately the Manufacturing Facilitator or designee of any deviation form normal operation of the equipment. Participates in evaluation and trouble shooting of the equipment as required. Follows QSR, ISO, safety and environmental regulations.

1. Starts-up the equipment following approved procedures. Monitors quality of products.
2. Performs machine work following approved procedures and in accordance with QSR, ISO and safety regulation. Records required information in the Batch Control Record in a neat and orderly manner.
3. Notifies Shift Leader or Manufacturing Facilitator of any deviation from normal operation. Assists in trouble-shooting and in performing corrective action for equipment malfunction or breakdown.
4. Maintains own production area clean and in an orderly manner.
5. Operates manufacturing equipment (filling, labeling/packaging), as required.
6. In the labeling / packaging area may be required to:
a) Prepare finished goods by shrink wrapping and placing corner boards.
b) Move finished product to warehouse following safety rules and ensuring proper handling of equipment and product.
c) Operate lifting and moving equipment following safety rules and ensuring proper handling of equipment.
7. Applies common sense understanding to interpret written procedures. Inspects own work. Records information in appropriate documentation in an orderly and neat fashion. Deals with routine situations with occasional variables that require interpretation.
8. Active participation in Lean Activities.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

A. Education:
High School Graduate. Able to understand overall concepts in written English.
B. Experience:
One year experience in manufacturing environment. Pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience preferred.

? Heavy work. Requires constant moving and lifting objects. Continuous walking or standing.
? Accidents if any would be related to:
a. Cuts with broken glass
