CorTech is seeking to hire a Project Manager for our client in El Segundo, CA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $89.00/Hour Description: Optimize Finance Business Resources for the NextGen Finance Program OPPORTUNITY: The Sr. Project Manager will have an important role in optimizing 60+ business resources and coordinating various activities throughout the NextGen Finance program. He/she will work closely with 15 workstream leads, the Systems Implementation Partner, and the NextGen Finance Program Manager. The NextGen Finance program aims to modernize the global finance function and streamline work across the organization by transitioning to the Oracle Fusion cloud financials solution which includes 200+ integrations to internal and external systems and partners. To excel in this role, the candidate should have a solid background in project management processes and tools, as well as excellent communication skills. Experience in large system implementations and a good understanding of Finance functions will be important. Experience with Oracle Fusion cloud for financials is a plus. WHAT YOUR IMPACT WILL BE: Manage and optimize resource planning for 60+ full and part-time business resources, aligning skills with project needs and resource availability, and coordinating various activities throughout the NextGen program, ensuring that time is used effectively and that project needs are met. Go live planned for summer of 2024. Collaborate with Program Manager and Systems Implementor to understand program priorities, decisions, risks, and issues and apply to resource optimization planning. Understand key activities on the critical path for the program and work closely with 15 project workstream leads to understand their resourcing needs to match up priorities and available skilled resources with workstream needs. Make recommendations to shift activities and resources to meet critical plan. Have a good understanding of Finance business functions in order to make sound resourcing decisions e.g. Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Financial Planning, Controllership, and end-to-end processes like Order to Cash, Record to Report, Plan to Perform. Have a good understanding of SDLC key activities to make sound resourcing decisions e.g. testing, conversions, integrations, reporting, change management, training, and support. Leverage Client PM methodologies, tools & templates. Use Microsoft Project to do resource loading and planning across all program activities and business resources. Produce and present executive level presentations on health of resource planning, options that need decisioning, and issues that need escalation. Manage a high degree of change in a fast paced, complex, and demanding environment. Lead and direct work of others who do not directly report to you but whose input and cooperation is needed on the project. WHAT WE?RE LOOKING FOR: 10 years of experience managing progressively complex and challenging projects and/or programs. Demonstrated project management experience within formal SDLC processes and methodologies such as PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge. Deep experience with Microsoft Project and Resource planning. A good understanding of Finance business functions e.g. Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Financial Planning, Controllership, and end-to-end processes like Order to Cash, Record to Report, Plan to Perform. Experience with Oracle Fusion cloud for financials a plus. Experience with large, global system implementations with globally disbursed project resources. Demonstrated success managing large, cross functional teams in a very dynamic and fast paced environment. Leadership qualities including strategic and critical thinking, relationship management, organizational skills and ability to motivate and influence others. Successful track record working with business teams to define, develop, test and launch new processes and new programs. Excellent communication (verbal and written) & presentation skills, including ability to tailor communication to audience to achieve desired results. Ability to anticipate potential issues and propose mitigation plans. Innate capability to create order out of chaos. Experience authoring business requirements. Ability to plan, organize and proctor efficient meetings through preparation, stakeholder buy in, and guide a group towards agreed upon objectives. Experience with analyzing complex issues and delivering appropriate solutions. Demonstrated ability to think out of the box and generate creative solutions. | |
