CorTech is seeking to hire a Freight Pay Auditor for our client in Pittsburgh, PA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $20.00/Hour Schedule: M-F generally 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm. Typically no overtime. JOB FUNCTION ? REQUIREMENTS - SUCCESS FACTORS (Why job exists, what areas it impacts on, requirements to do the job, and Success Factors) This position has core responsibility to support freight payment invoice and dispute auditing as processed through Client Transportation Management Systems (TMS). The individual must learn the functionality of the TMS in the area of freight payment so that proper actions can be taken in the system to resolve invoicing disputes and rating discrepancies identified by transportation carriers or displayed as rejected by the TMS system. A detailed understanding of Client transportation contracts and tariff rate structures must be followed to accurately and effectively complete freight payment invoice audits. The position may also support various projects related to data gathering, metrics/reporting and other department efforts related to freight payment. The ability to work accurately while under pressure to meet deadlines is critical. Requirements: Bachelor?s degree preferred or equivalent in a quantitative discipline and 0- 3 years of relevant professional work experience is required. Logistics or Finance experience preferred, not required. Ability to learn quickly: the TMS system, industry terms and fundamental knowledge of transportation modes (e.g., dry van truckload, bulk truckload, Less-than-Truckload ? LTL, etc.), transportation carrier pricing structures, Client freight requirements, Client contract standards, Client Logistics and business unit field personnel associated with transportation. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a strong Excel background and spreadsheet/database skill set. Candidate must be local. | |
