CorTech is seeking to hire a CNC Technician for our client in Torrance, CA! Benefits Available! Pay Rate - $30/hr Day Shift Job Description Troubleshoot CNC equipment and ensure Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures are completed. Support the documentation of PM completion records and procedures. Repair CNC Machinery, Manual Machine and Machining Centers. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls. Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues. Identify and replace parts as necessary. Complete testing and adjust of parts as needed. Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work. Work with a sense of urgency to minimize machine downtime. In conjunction with production team, support continuous improvement plans. Perform general facilities maintenance. Perform other duties as assigned. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Requires at least 4 years of experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens CNC controls. Requires at least 4 years of experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair. Must be able to read parts manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides. Requires a high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical knowledge and repair skills. Must have advanced knowledge of CNC machine design and operation. Requires advanced knowledge of and experience with electrical test equipment, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems. Must be able to work all required shift hours, overtime and weekends, as needed. Must be able to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. | |
