CorTech is seeking to hire a Meeting/Event Assistant for our client in Charlotte, NC! Benefits Available! Pay Rate - $20-25/hr Shift: Monday-Friday, 15 hours per week Job Description Assists the meeting/event staff with all aspects of planning a meeting or special event for an organization. Involved in location, food, transportation, and presentation arrangements. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent and required years of related experience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor. Minimum 3+ years meeting and event planning exp required. Size of company doesn?t matter, although she would prefer to stay away from individuals w/experience @ companies equal to Zillow?s size. Must have intermediate skills with excel and google docs Functions: assist with event planning to include trade shows, host receptions, ordering for events, registrations, lead tracking, logistics and shipping, expense tracking, etc. Real Estate knowledge is strongly desired (i.e. familiarity with terms such as MLS, associations, brokers, agents, etc.) Must be organized, ability to multi-task as they will work on multiple events simultaneously, quick learner and ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment. Additionally, the ability to adjust quickly. This department does approximately 200 events per year; 10-25 per week simultaneously. | |
