Description:

PM for Application Transformation Program
App Transformation- App Rationalization Client major push to cloud.
Remote worker. Contract length can?t be longer than 2 yrs- per our contract policies, of course contingent on performance.

Top Skills- in order:
Proactive, self-starter.
Communication skills will be key. Able to explain complex technical and non-technical topics with easy up and out.
Solid Agile experience (Jira experience required).
Cloud technical project experience.

Job duties include but not limited to, the following:
Provide overall project management to program and various workstreams related to the Application Transformation Program
Implement, enforce, and continually improve Agile & Scrum practices
Provide Scrum Master duties for facilitating best in class Scrum practices
Provide mentoring/training for the team and workstream Project Managers on Agile processes, methods, and practices
Provide PM support and coordination between Onsite, Offshore, and Process teams. Partner with Program Manager
Actively drive/lead discussions
Provide recommendations per past experience on similar transformational projects
Working with outside vendors and Client teams to plan and manage the project activities, provide governance and oversight, and provide status and other inputs to the global project leadership
Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, escalate in a clear and timely manner when appropriate
Provide status updates / slide decks for Stakeholders
Coordinate internal resources and work with/manage third parties/vendors
Hold resources accountable for bodies of work to be delivered on time
Manage and track implementation issues/risks to achieve a successful delivery to goals. Prepare and track post go live issues to ensure a successful stabilization phase
Track project budget and Invoice spends
Assist team on policy, process, implementation of strategic initiatives, and execution of day-to-day deliverables
Right size process/project management tactics/use of tools (Jira)

Requirements:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience with minimum 5+ years of experience in IT project management or similar type of experience
Experience leading large, transformation projects
Experience in managing Technical SME?s , Architects, and Engineers. Lead, direct, and review the team?s work.
Proved track record managing a multiple/concurrent large and complex project
Experience adapting to vendor methodologies when appropriate or vic versa
Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in IT a plus
Experience with Agile methodologies / Scrum Master a plus
Time management and organizational skills essential
Detail oriented with strong English written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Willing to take a hands-on approach and help the team to drive success
Ability to juggle multiple high priority and high visibility initiatives
