We are currently hiring for a Assistant General Manager in Philadelphia, PA. $1600/week Property is a 7 day operation Weekends and holidays are required Typical Schedule 8am to 5pm, will need flexibility incase of catering events that run into the early evening Temporary to permanent opportunity Minimum Requirements: ? B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or a related field or A.A. Degree plus two years of directly related experience ? Food service operational management, with two to four years of experience and expert knowledge of inventory management and purchasing ? A current ServSafe® certification ? Ramp Certification (will obtain during employment if not already held) ? Knowledge of food and catering trends, sanitation, food cost controls ? Previous experience with P&L accountability or contract-managed services ? Supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills fostering a culture of growth and success ? Effective communication skills both written and verbal, connecting with management, clients, customers, and associates on all levels ? Experience in P&L management ? Proficiency in various technology in the industry: Microsoft Office, Point of Sales, Invoice Management, Payroll and Ordering ? Prior experience managing a Union workforce is a plus Job Duties, but not limited to: ? Food service operations for multi-faceted location ? Financial responsibilities include financial reporting, analysis and cash handling ? Lead and inspire our team of dedicated exempt and non-exempt team members ? Ensure we adhere to Company policies as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations ? Maintain food cost control while delivering exceptional quality ? Building rapport with team, managing client relationships, and guest experience ? Purchasing and inventory controls ? Collaborate with our culinary team to create menus ?
