CorTech is seeking to hire a RN for our client in Washington, MO! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $51.72/Hour Varied shift times based on patient volume for the day in surgery: 0630-1500, 0730-1600, or 0900-1730. No on call requirement FLU and COVID-19: All travelers must be completely vaccinated PRIOR TO START. There are no exceptions. SHIFT INFO Shift day Shifts per week 5 Hours per shift 8 EXPERIENCE Years of Experience Two Years Plus Specialties Critical Care and/or PACU- required CERTIFICATIONS Certifications BLS, ACLS & PALS DESCRIPTION Job Description Responsibilities: Involves patient and/or significant others in decisions regarding care. Assesses and appropriately documents the educational needs and learning abilities of the patient and/or significant others during the admission and subsequent assessments in the computerized care plan. Documents and assures that the plan of care includes identified problems, and/or nursing diagnosis, nursing interventions, and goals/outcomes with target dates with the patient/family promoting optimal health, healing or dignified end of life, when appropriate. Performs patient hand offs utilizing patient safety tools (SBAR, Report at Bedside, etc.) both from shift-to-shift and interdepartmentally as directed. Communicates subjective and objective data about the patient/family and/or significant others with appropriate members of the multidisciplinary team. Facilitates communication of pertinent findings with and/or makes rounds with physicians. Maintains relevant knowledge and follows policies/procedures. Readily accepts professional accountability to resolve issues related to patient care or operational issues. Delegates, guides and directs unlicensed health care providers & LPN's in tasks and are responsible for the care provided according to their documented competencies and/or scope of practice.. Performs patient rounding, based on patient need and departmental guidelines. Appropriately interprets and utilizes diagnostic, laboratory, and monitoring data. If required takes call, weekend shift or alternate shifts as deemed by the department needs. Performs other duties as assigned or requested. | |
