CorTech is seeking to hire a Operator 1 for our client in Ames, IA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $19.50/Hour Shift: Second shift Monday through Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm - overtime offered at times and may be required during heavy production times. This is a fast pace production operation where operators weigh and mix dry powders. Frequent heavy lifting required of up to 55 pounds net weight. Perform all production activities and operate production equipment in accordance to the plant capacity and in conformity with Safety, Health and Environment requirements, SOP?s, Quality standards and time sequences. Performs all duties associated with the production of custom vitamin premixes. Receives, unloads, stores, delivers and ships raw and finished materials. Some minor maintenance work on equipment settings. Take part in all Client requirements / activities, including Life Saving Rule?s, Quality, Client Integrated Continual Improvement, Safety Amp (Near Miss observation cards - Behavior Based Safety), etc. Operator required to wear steel toe SD boots. PPE includes, safety glasses, hand protection gloves, respirator, hearing protection, and bump cap (all PPE provided by Client ) Respirator required as materials can be dusty. Uniform also provided by Client . Operator to wear street clothes and change into work uniform at shift start. Operator to be on floor ready to start at 10:30 pm. Shower time paid for at end of shift. | |
