CorTech is seeking to hire a Maintenance Planner for our client in Redmond, WA! Pay rate: 35.00 JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to provide asset management support for a business unit or large department focusing on building maintenance and office administration support for company managed building assets. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with Technicians, Facility Managers and Project Managers to obtain building asset data points for loading data and descriptions into the CMMS software. Analyze asset and work order reporting for data quality control and integrity. Develop and maintain accurate records of building equipment, maintenance history, and related metrics to inform future maintenance planning. Develop, maintain and distribute workflow processes to the entire account team documenting how work is planned, scheduled and executed. Work with management team to optimize the mixes of planned, scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize team workflow efficiency. Provide regular statistical reporting to the management team and client showing quantifiable data of the productive use of the workforce. Uses guidelines set by management to develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance and life cycle optimization strategies. Performs annual review of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure the current work order system library contains correct frequencies and balanced 12-month schedules for all technicians and vendors. Determines appropriate predictive maintenance tasks. Analyzes predictive maintenance data for trends. Initiate corrective actions as appropriate. Determines appropriate predictive maintenance tasks. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Required. Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training. CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES None. Valid driver's license if driving required in conjunction with job duties. Facility Management or PMP certification is desired. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages. REASONING ABILITY Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use work order CMMS system. Microsoft Excel skills needed include ability to build pivot tables, research and utilize formulas and other analytical functions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and program management skills with attention to detail. | |
