CorTech is seeking to hire a Warehouse Worker for our client in Jacksonville, FL! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $19.43/Hour Shifts: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mon-Fri Description: What you will do Responsible for receiving and moving raw materials, parts and packing materials to prescribed departments and locations. How you will do it Process, package and ship orders accurately Organize stocks and maintain inventory Inspect products for defects and damages Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments Organize warehouse space Check, verify and fill customer invoices Operate banding and wrapping equipment as required. Receive and unload trucks of incoming material. Verify and record counts of incoming and outgoing material on operating system and report discrepancies to supervisor. Sign bills of loading on incoming material and load miscellaneous materials to trucks such as scrap, empty drums, and materials for other plants. Follow incoming inspection procedures manual of specific materials to select, examine and record condition of samples. Handle empty skids, pallets, miscellaneous dunnage and stack/store as required. Supply production lines with necessary materials when required and move miscellaneous scrap materials out of production area to warehouse or yard. Keep warehouse and yard storage orderly to use available space to the best advantage. Perform daily production cycle counts as directed by supervisor. Report shortages of material of any kind and take inventory of material at periodic intervals as directed. Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations What we look for Required High School diploma or combination of education and work. Valid Driver's License. Must be able to work with numbers. Good organization skills and able to multi-task. Proven warehouse experience Must have previous forklift operator experience, as well as be able to operate a hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system Team player with organizational skills Ability to lift up to 75 lbs or move heavy products Preferred Experience with power forklift, hand trucks, small tools, pallets and computer terminals Forklift experience required.
