Full Time, Year -Round, up to $23 per Hour! Do you have previous CNC machining experience and want to work with a great team? JobsRUs.com is currently hiring for Machine Operator positions in the Georgia/Fairfax area. What to know about the Machine Operator Role: ? 1st shift: $19 - $23 per hour, depending on experience. ? Monday - Friday, 7 am- 3:30 pm. ? Weekly pay Machine Operator Responsibilities: ? Responsible for set-up and operation of CNC mills and lathes. ? Adjusts machines, including controls as required to ensure the quality of work ? Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly ? Performs basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment ? Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements ? Actively participate and support the 5S process within the work area on a daily basis. ? Other duties will be assigned as required. Qualifications & Knowledge Required for Machine Operator Positions ? Minimum of two years experience operating CNC machines such as lathes and mill machines in a manufacturing environment ? Intermediate knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments. Instruments should include, but not be limited to, calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and scales ? Intermediate knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various CNC machines Machine Operator Physical Demands: ? Be able to lift objects up to 35 lbs. ? Be able to lift, push and pull objects as necessary ? May be required to stand and walk throughout the workday ?
