Our client, a leading manufacturer of reamers in the United States, is looking for Entry-Level Machine Operators to join their team in Fairfax. We are looking for a machinist to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will operate machine tools to produce precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements. What to know about the Machine Operator role ? Day Shift Hours: 7 AM ? 3:30 PM ? Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50 ? No background or drug test is required. Start quickly! ? Operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and/or grinders to produce metal parts ? Plan the sequence of cutting and finishing operations ? Produce large quantities of parts ? Determine how the equipment will cut apart ? Use manual and/or computer-controlled machinery ? Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations ? Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements ? Complete production logs ? Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects ? Perform routine machine maintenance ? Use of math with analytical abilities Machine Operator Qualifications: ? Verbal communication ? the ability to communicate clearly ?
