CorTech is seeking to hire a Health Services Technician II for our client in Beech Island, SC!

$21.98/Hour
Work Hours: 7am-3pm Monday through Thursday, 7am-Noon Friday

MUST be Medical Assistant Certified - not negotiable
On-site role (no remote work)

This position will provide assistance to the Occupational Health Team. The role will involve taking health histories, taking vitals, administer hearing tests, scheduling physicals, order supplies, tracking inventory and expiration dates, assembling training materials, clean exam rooms, and other clerical support activities.
Other: Must be able to handle and maintain confidential medical records and information with the utmost discretion.
The clinic has it's own entrance, so the person will not have to walk through production area to get to the office. Dress code, business casual, or medical scrubs are acceptable.

Primary areas of focus and responsibility include but are not limited to the following: scheduling, planning, and maintenance of medical record keeping. Duties include: annual surveillance testing. Maintain medical records compliance, HIPPA and OHM medical documentation. Interfaces with external vendors and partners to coordinate medical visits, testing, screenings and other events. Qualifications: Basic:
High School diploma or equivalent Certified Medical Assistant
1-3 years of administrative experience working in an office environment
Proficiency in the use of PC hardware and software including electronic medical record systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred:
1-3 years of administrative experience working in an office environment, preferably in a medical office or medical records environment
Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
Pulmonary Function Testing and CAOHC-approved Occupational Hearing Conservation training is highly desired, but will train if necessary.
NIOSH approved spirometry cours
