CorTech is seeking to hire a Quality Control Technician for our client in Aurora, IL! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! Pay Rate - $20-28/hr 1st Shift Job Description The Quality Technician II conducts dimensional inspections and documentation verification of purchased components and final assemblies to ensure compliance with all required quality and performance standards. ? Conducts dimensional inspections of purchased components and raw materials. ? Performs First Piece inspection and prepare reports. ? Verifies the accuracy of material certificates and test reports from suppliers. ? Assigns internal heat codes to materials received from suppliers. ? Performs when required any of the in-process inspections and tests carried out in the assembly process, including positive material Identification tests, hardness tests, paint thickness tests, hydro tests, visual examinations of welds and others as required. ? Verifies and signs off on required factory calibration and test reports. ? Performs inspection of final assemblies to ensure compliance to all drawing and customer requirements. ? Calibrates measuring tools and gages, as assigned. ? Performs when required weld Liquid Penetrant test examinations to level II. **Minimum GED ** 3 - 5 yrs experience | |
