CorTech is seeking to hire a General Laborer III for our client in Grand Prairie, TX! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $25.00/Hour Shift Start and End Time: M-F 7AM- 4PM Performs one of more of the following Industrial or Production roles: Bonding - Bonds aircraft interior structures and parts Cleaning - repairs aircraft interior structures and parts for shipment Decor - applies decorative material Electrical Installation - installs and attaches aircraft interior electrical components using engineering drawings, company and customer specifications Fill & Fair/Sanding - prepares aircraft interior parts for decorative material application by filling and fairing plastic, metal, and composite parts and units using filling material Product Tester - performs product testing Edge & Fill - applies edge fill and/or inserts and insert adhesive to panels per engineering drawings and company procedures Lay-Up - constructs aircraft interior parts by laying-up resin impregnated reinforcements (glass, carbon, etc), film adhesives and core in a sequence and processes in an oven as described on engineering drawings and company specifications Maintenance/Repair - maintains and fixes tools and machinery Production Worker - perform various construction tasks Warehouse - Perform daily stockroom activities including material transactions, put-away and cycle counting Sheet Metal - fabricates parts, assemblies, and systems with a variety of materials, processes, and equipment Painting/Spraying - Applies paint, paint primer, décor adhesive, décor primer or other coatings to plastic, metal, wood, and composite aircraft parts and structure using regulated spray equipment Experience: 4+ years Has developed proficiency through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience Completes work with a limited degree of supervision Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience Job Duties: Assist the Facilities team with commercial office remodel projects. Applicants must display respect and service, work as a team, have a strong work ethic with physical strength and endurance, working well with your hands. What you will do: Use tools and building materials to assist on area building projects All phases of light duty commercial construction with emphasis on office remodel projects Work in a team while following instructions and safety guidelines Solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and assigned responsibilities. These include safety, productivity, quality control, material and inventory control/planning, maintenance and care for tools, blueprint/plan reading, reporting and paperwork accuracy. Requirements: 3 or more years of on-the-job remodel construction preferred with experience on demo and erection of metal frame walls, sheet rocking and ceiling grid removal and installation. Wall finishing experienced is plus. Must be able to: Interpret and apply knowledge of all safety and building code regulations Safely operate construction machinery Measure accurately, use specific tools and equipment once trained. Read blueprints and drawings Have knowledge of construction materials and tools Special tools and equipment will be furnished however; a small assortment of hand tools is required. Physical Requirements: Be physically fit with no physical limitations, strong enough to lift up to 75 pounds and agile as the position requires the ability to climb ladders, lift heavy objects, etc. | |
