CorTech is seeking a Payroll Administrator to work for our client in Atlanta!

Primary Responsibility:
We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our client's payroll team! As a Payroll Analyst, you will be part of a team that supports payroll administration, analyzes payroll data, and assists with ensuring other payroll related deadlines are met.


Essential Functions:

-Collaborate with the Payroll team, process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls using PeopleSoft
-Review & analyze payroll data
-Prepare and process off cycle checks/ wires as required
-Process garnishments, and audit vendor to ensure garnishments are setup timely
-Respond to internal customers email requests within SLA guidelines
-Research and investigate payroll issues independently, demonstrating high analytical ability, knowledge of best practices, and an understanding of federal and state regulations
- Research current and pending regulations affecting payroll and advise of any changes necessary
- Support upcoming system implementation, and process improvements and act as a key member of the team on any system upgrades, configuration changes, and conversions including integrations, when necessary
- Conduct regular payroll internal audits to ensure data
- Post Payroll Balancing & Auditing
-Exercise good judgement, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee pay information.


Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum 3 to 5 years payroll processing experience. PeopleSoft or Oracle Cloud preferred
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Able to communicate across all levels of the company.
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality to payroll and other employee personal information.
- Able to operate independently, with discretion and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Ability to successfully balance competing priorities and effectively manage workload.
- Ability to take direction and function as a team player.
- Results-oriented, accountable, and highly organized

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Good time management & organizational skills
- Strong numerical aptitude & attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Exercise critical thinking methods to identify and solve problems
