Job Title: HRIS Specialist - Benefits Systems Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA (On Site)
Work Authorization: US Citizen/Green Card
Pay: $26-$35/hr

Reports to: Sr HRIS Analyst

Primary Responsibility:
The HRIS Specialist - Benefits or Benefits Systems Specialist is the subject-matter expert for People Soft, specializing in Base Benefits and Benefits Administration for US operations. The role involves optimizing business processes, ensuring accurate benefits administration, and maximizing application usage.

Essential Functions:
1. Develop and document specifications for PeopleSoft configurations and interfaces.
2. Lead the creation of training materials and technical documentation.
3. Provide robust support in a high-demand payroll environment.
4. Manage annual open enrollment processes and qualified life events.
5. Oversee testing of new or modified systems or processes.
6. Prepare detailed reports and project-related documentation.
7. Offer ongoing user support, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex system issues.
8. Identify process efficiencies, recommend innovative software functionality, and implement solutions.
9. Train end-users and foster knowledge sharing.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Sr HRIS Analyst.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years in Benefits Administration).
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft, focusing on Base Benefits and Benefits Administration for US (familiarity with PeopleSoft 9.2 is a plus).
- Comprehensive understanding of setup tables, system integration, and HCM Benefits processes and reporting.
- Proficiency in researching and analyzing data to resolve system issues.
- Ability to create reports using Query Manager or SQL.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in a union environment is a plus.
- Consistent, flexible, and deadline-oriented.
- Superior issue resolution and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and using a computer.
- Occasional lifting up to 15 pounds.
