JobsRUs.com is looking for Equipment Associates for one of their clients warehouse in Pittsburg Ca. We are currently hiring for the morning shift and this a a temp position with possibility of becoming permanent. The primary objective will be to provide labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff and other branch personnel engaged in meeting the needs of customers. Job Details: -Provide labor assistance to outside operations staff and other branch personnel engaged in meeting customer's needs. -Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to branch ? Report machine condition to Counter Person/Service Manager for appropriate billing of customer Inspect rental equipment for safety decals, safety compliance, and ensure that equipment is in good working order. -Assisting with cleaning and power washing equipment, painting steel plates and beams. -Building modular equipment. -Assist with loading and unloading trucks for deliveries and preparing equipment for rental. -Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order. -Load and unload rental equipment, and prepare equipment for rental Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers as well as drive a delivery truck to pick-up and drop-off equipment Requirements: -Effective communication and strong teamwork skills and ability to multi-task. -High school diploma and valid driver's license required. -Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds. Ability to kneel, bend and climb ladders. -Willing to work outside in cold and hot weather. Steel toe boots required. Safety vest, safety glasses and hard hat is required but will be provided by the company. -Activities requiring handling and grasping with the hands when performing repairs or maintenance of equipment by utilizing hand tools, power tools, air tools, nuts, bolts, electronic controls, and other small parts. ? -Occasional use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal on equipment to test operation ? ? Exposure to bright light, extreme temperature, loud noise, dust, gas, or fumes ? Occasional working at heights above 10 ft. ? -Ability to wear a respirator and/or hearing protection as required ? Ability to bend, kneel, and work with arms raised for prolonged periods of time ? Schedule: Mon-Fri + some Saturdays depending on clients needs 7:30am-3:30pm 8:30-4:30pm Pay rate: $19.00/hr | |
