JobsRUs.com is seeking Storeroom Clerk for a local Beloit, WI manufacturing company. 6:30am-3pm Pay $20.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, for example SAP, and be proficient with Microsoft Office. Inventory control experience preferred. Must be proficient in the identification of MRO storeroom parts and fundamental knowledge of mechanical components and equipment. Job Description: Under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor the stockroom clerk will be responsible for organization of the stockrooms, receiving parts, cycle counts of the stockrooms, completion of paperwork to maintain the correct inventories and facility related maintenance projects. The stockroom clerk will also participate in problem solving for facility issues and the receiving process, as well as perform housekeeping duties in the stockrooms and other duties as assigned. Job Functions: Organize and maintain all stockrooms and the maintenance shop. Perform stockroom parts retrieval for planned work, kitting, etc. and ensure parts are issued to either a work order or a cost center for parts and materials retrieved. Review work orders for proper material consumption and reconcile accordingly. Receive stockroom parts, label and properly store parts into the correct inventory location. Assist in gathering information needed to set up new parts in the system including: description, cost, vendor, location, min/max and order quantity. Research parts issues with mechanics as they arise. Participate in physical inventory of stocked items on both a cycle count and annual basis while adhering to internal controls and SOX requirements. Utilize plant computer management system (SAP) to manage the storerooms inventories and to initiate work orders and requisitions to replenish inventories. Occasional use of forklift. Work with onsite contracted Facility Manager to manage all non-production related aspects of the facility to include utilities, plant systems (boilers, air compressors, etc.) and the building itself. Review facility work repair requests, initiate funding requests (when needed), submit requisitions for the work, and coordinate contractor field work. Physical ability to uncrate and move heavy (50lb) machine parts. Good planning and organizational skills. Detail oriented. Good written and verbal communication skills required.
