CorTech is seeking to hire a Stockhandler for our client in Columbia, SC!

Schedule: After initial several weeks on first shift 6:00 ? 2:30, Will move to 2nd shift 2:30 pm ? 11:00 PM

Description:

This position is a second shift position that is responsible for supporting the maintenance and repair of Client Energy South Carolina Fleet by researching, ordering, receiving, storing, posting of transactions, delivering, and maintaining inventory of automotive parts and related supplies.

Summary of Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting the general maintenance of the main fleet warehouse at the central garage and all satellite garage locations
Assist with organizing and monitoring of inventory
Receiving and issuing materials to include inspect materials received for accuracy and quality and coordinate with vendor to rectify problems
Purchase automotive parts and supplies within prescribed limits for garages throughout the company
Perform data entry functions to document purchases, accurate and timely completion of paperwork
Prepare material request for overnight deliveries

Must have skill:
Must possess strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees, and vendors
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within the Fleet organization and support organizations
Attention to detail to maintain accurate records is critical
Proficient in Microsoft Office products and materials management programs such as SAP

Soft skill:
Demonstrate skills necessary to manage multiple assignments, take decisive action to facilitate completion of assignments and work independently or as part of a team
The physical requirements of this job are strenuous and include heavy lifting and the operation of material handling equipment (i.e. fork lift, hand truck, pallet jacks, etc).

Education: High School diploma or GED; experience in material management is preferred and knowledge of automotive background is required.
