Duties:
Conduct basic demand and preventative maintenance support for machines and facilities related equipment. Conduct simple checks to ensure that machines and facilities are in good working condition.
Major Responsibilities
Provide maintenance support for Operations and Engineering Department. Conduct simple checks and basic repairs to ensure that machines and facilities are in good working condition.

Follow all GMP and safe work policies and procedures in accordance with established company policies.

Capable of accurately documenting maintenance related tasks in a computerized maintenance management system.

Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications
High School Diploma and two years successful completion of a trade school or Junior College (or apprenticeship) certification in their selected field. Four years of related experience may be substituted for the two-year certificate.

Proficiency in computer applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).

Must have excellent interpersonal skills to successfully work within a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Must be able to adapt to changing requirements and meet timeline commitments without sacrificing workmanship quality.

Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities
The Alinity manufacturing department performs all finishing services manufacturing for the
Alinity m Amplification (AMP) kits. Finishing Services processes include filling, lyophilization,
sealing, pouching, and kitpacking operations. The AMP kits support all on market Alinity m
assays for infectious diseases (HIV, HBV, HCV, HPV, STI, CMV, EBV, SARS-CoV-2 and Resp-4-
Plex). The Alinity m is the flagship product for Molecular Diagnostics with a strong growth
profile (low double digits).

through yield improvement, productivity improvement and other continuous improvement
changes via RCAs and structured Tier program. Ensure on-time and in-full delivery of finished
products manufactured.
Assignment
Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for providing technical leadership,
scheduling/crewing production, coordinating production support activities, developing
quality and process improvements, as well as working with Engineering and design transfer
on the launch of new equipment and new assays. The supervisor will be responsible for
driving the process of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles. They are
responsible for their shifts' performance with respect to safety, quality, on-time delivery and
cost. Other day-to-day responsibilities include conducting daily shift huddles, assigning work
locations, managing training strategies, supporting operators to complete Standard of Work
tasks (SOWs), partnering with cross functional teams to minimize downtime (Maintenance,
Quality, and Warehouse), managing all aberrant conditions and abnormal events to prevent
impact to quality or production downtime. Alinity 2nd shift is made up of 18 Direct Labor
manufacturing technicians working 2pm - 1030pm, Monday thru Friday.
The Alinity mfg dept. as a whole is a 24/5 operation with 3 shifts of equal size and responsibility. The 2nd
shift supervisor will work with their counter-parts on 1st and 3rd shift to ensure continuity in
production.
