CorTech is seeking to hire a Data Analyst II for our client in Alameda, CA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $51.44/Hour Start Time (AM/PM) 8:00 am End Time (AM/PM) 4:30 pm Data Analyst is responsible pulling data to support trending of product complaints and medical device reports utilizing data that resides in the complaint handling database for all product lines. This will include detailed data reports (e.g. graphs, charts, tables) prepared for routine trending, senior management reviews, ad-hoc requests, and cross-functional requests as needed (e.g. Regulatory, Quality Engineering, R&D). The Data Analyst will establish and maintain complex reporting formulas and templates using reporting tools such as Excel and other databases (e.g. Business Objects). Skills: Data analysis, demonstrated knowledge with AWS, SQL, Python, Microsoft Office, Power BI Education: College degree preferred. Bachelor?s degree with 4 years? experience in Data Analysis. Will also consider an Associate?s with 5+ years of Data Analytics exp. or master?s degree with 2 years of Data Analytics exp. Degree in Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Engineering, Math?s, etc. preferred. Or Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience involving Data Integration Initiatives and Database Development. 5-7 years of experience in data integration, and data warehousing 3+ years of demonstrated experience working with various business units defining and understanding business problems and solutions. Responsibilities: Data Visualization Generate visual reports (e.g., graphs, charts, tables) for senior management reviews and ad-hoc requests. Identify opportunities to streamline data and reports for inventory, supplier performance, shortages, component demand, spend, savings, etc. Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality Data Integration Assemble large, complex sets of data that meet business requirements Setup and load balancing, expertise in public cloud solutions and web servers. Develop required solutions for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources and types Create and/or modify data marts and lead in the design of solutions to support the business and analytics Suggest changes to enhance the design, function, and development of new/existing data structures ETL lifecycle, design, create, automate, and maintain sophisticated programs that extract, convert, and load data Data Governance Prepare the necessary documentation and visuals to ensure clarity in data lineage and firm understanding of developed data solutions. Provide guidance to teams of the multiple system and business-embedded analysts for information and improvements related to data usage and governance Provide guidance and leadership to business partners of the standards around data governance practices Maintain, uphold, and suggest changes to enhance governance standards for the Data Architecture and Integration Other responsibilities: Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines Very strong customer focus and relationship skills. Procurement/Operations/Supply Chain knowledge a plus Ability to work alone or with little supervision. Willingness to find solutions to problems related to Data analytics Proficient with Windows Suite Awareness of Project Management methodologies and processes. Tasks: Person will be receiving data from Stakeholders and extracting data, cleaning-up data both manually and automated, and analyzing; will not be presenting the data only receiving it. This will require interacting w/ Stakeholders, team members, managers, etc. so looking for someone that has "pre-pandemic" work experience in an office and has had this level of interaction before. Will work with Bill of Materials to look at cost, quantities and raw materials for the finished products they make - 60% to 70% of the work is spent doing this. Does not need to have regulated industry or pharma experience but MUST HAVE Analytics Work Experience Procurement & Supply Chain work experience is preferred If someone has Client work experience it will only count if it's in Data Analysis Data Engineers and Scientists are "over-qualified" for the reasons the HM mentioned (they might get discouraged). |
