Pay rate: 42.00

Duties:
Job Duties: Responsible for initiating, developing and performing assays leading to the determination of drug and metabolites in complex biological or environmental matrices. This includes, but is not limited to, residue analysis for pharmacokinetic, metabolism, human food safety, efficacy and safety studies to support the development of new products and the maintenance of existing products. Plan and carry out laboratory tasks and studies as part of larger or more complex research projects, applying sound basic skills including good laboratory practices, data recording, analysis, evaluation and interpretation of experimental data. Contribute to project and task force teams and function as Investigator or Principal Investigator for BlAH studies with limited supervision. Responsible for the generation and interpretation of scientific data leading to a better understanding of the pharmacological activity and safety profile of the active substances and for product registrations

Skills:
reporting bioanalytical analyses in support of pharmacokinetic and target animal safety studies; chromatographic separations of analyte of interest from biological matrices by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) in bioanalysis; mass spectrometer detection of analyte of interest from biological matrices by tandem mass spectrometry in bioanalysis; ligand binding assay such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA); biological matrix processing through liquid-liquid extraction, solid phase extraction and protein precipitation extraction procedures; Watson Laboratory Information Management System (Watson LIMS) data processing and evaluation; good document practices during bioanalysis; evaluation of calibration standards, quality controls and study samples chromatographic peak integration and concentration values according to acceptance criteria based on standard operation procedures and regulatory guidelines; and operation of microbalance weighing, low volume such as 10 microliter pipetting, and automatic liquid handling system such as TOMTEC.

Education:
Master?s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in a Pharmaceutical-related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: liquid chromatography-mass spectrometer (LC-MS) bioanalytical method development, validation, and clinical sample analysis; performing bioanalysis using good laboratory practices (GLPs); planning, conducting,
