CorTech is seeking to hire a Assembler I for our client in Walton, KY! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $18.25/Hour Shift Start and End Time Non-Rotating 12 hr 2-2-3 schedule (No rotating days/nights every 8 weeks) Description Job Summary Performs a range of skilled repetitive assembly and cleaning operations to produce quality products in a timely manner; performs operations from work instructions. Duties Performs a range of skilled repetitive mechanical and/or electro-mechanical assembly operations in support of production projects; Assembles, modifies, reworks, and/or reassembles production components utilizing drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and/or verbal instructions; Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools and machines including but not limited to power screwdriver, ruler, solder iron, clamp machine, heat gun, vise, solder pots, crimpers, pinning machine, and automatic wire stripers; Cleans parts prior to production use as required; Identifies wires with use of basic color code sequence; Participates in first time production runs of new products; Supports cycle count activity, inventory handling, and inventory transactions following established material procedures; Participates in continuous improvement and team building activities; maintains productive working relationships with all team members; Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of all applicable safety rules and regulations; Completes all required paperwork; Performs clean up, and tool inventory activities; Performs other duties as assigned by manager. Experience 0-2 years Entry-level job with little or no prior relevant experience Work is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomy Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail Understand and follow Safran Landing Systems procedures, operating manuals, work instructions, and standard operating procedures required to support Safran Landing Systems Receiving and electronically logging in receipt of worn heat stacks, verifying purchase order, part number, quantity, etc. (Receiving) Qualified to perform inspection of worn carbon disks; inspection of worn carbon requires initial operator qualification/certification with annual re-certification (Inspection) Load and sequence disks to support the production plan for riveting and kitting MPS (Washer) Assemble metal hardware to carbon/carbon disks as required for riveting operation (Riveting) Accurate operation of precision dimensional measuring instruments (Riveting & Kitting) Kit heat stacks for customer order fulfillment as required (Kitting) Picking, packing, and data entry of outbound shipment on a weekly basis (Kitting) Maintain a clean, safe work environment Utilize data collection systems to accurately document/monitor/track production processes/products Perform minor preventive equipment maintenance Safe operation/use of production, material handling, and other equipment Support and follow Quality, Safety, Environmental, Process, Engineering, and Personnel procedures/policies Communicate ideas/opportunities for continuous improvement Trained to work at the Repair workstation Perform other related duties as required Complementary Description Perform duties requiring kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds periodically Vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment Subjected to inside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils and other related industrial hazards Work in/near electro-magnetic fields created by high temperature induction furnaces Job Requirements High School diploma/GED Contributing to Team Success Planning and Organizing Quality Orientation Work Standards | |
