JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Sr Systems Engineer for our client in Richardson, TX! Pay rate: 59.00 ? Day to Day Responsibilities: o Plan, design, deploy, and support Microsoft Teams Phone. o Design and implement Direct Routing on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Trunks, Session Border Controllers, and telephony architecture. o Provide technical user support for incidents escalated from the helpdesk and resolve system/application issues. o Create high-level Microsoft Teams architecture design and guidance to ensure Microsoft Teams Voice deployment is successful. o Offer strategic direction on the product, system integration, product enhancements, and system integrations. o Ensure key stakeholders are kept updated and informed of challenges and mitigation strategies. o Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. o Resolves and escalates issues in an appropriate and timely fashion. o Create and update existing documentation for work performed defining system parameters, logical/physical topologies, standards, and methods of procedures for support. o Effectively communicate with project managers, direct management/team members, and team members from other groups via email, IM, or face-to-face interactions ? Years? Experience Required: 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business Online/OnPrem, Enterprise Voice/Unified Communication (SBC, VoIP, PBX) ? Systems/Software Proficiencies: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, PowerShell. Microsoft infrastructure, Active Directory, VOIP platform, IP, SMTP troubleshooting, and Exchange messaging. ? Certifications: Microsoft Certifications are ideal: o Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Voice Engineer, Expert o MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams ? Qualifications: o Five years of experience with Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business Online/OnPrem, Enterprise Voice/Unified Communication (SBC, VoIP, PBX) o Must be familiar with telecommunication technologies and has experience in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and PowerShell. o They must be able to deploy and configure Microsoft Teams Phone with PSTN connectivity through Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and Microsoft Teams Calling Plans. o Strong Technical background in Microsoft infrastructure, Active Directory, VOIP platform, IP, SMTP troubleshooting, and Exchange messaging. o Experienced in Migration, deployment, and MS Teams programming. o The Microsoft Teams voice engineer must be able to translate business requirements into technical architecture and designs for communication solutions. o PowerShell scripting is a must-have. | |
