Job Description:

Role Overview:
Join our team as a Production Technician and play a pivotal role in our TruCOUNT and FACSCount areas. You'll ensure smooth manufacturing processes while maintaining quality standards and adherence to established procedures. We're seeking a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set up semi-automated equipment for FACSCount and TruCount manufacturing processes.
Perform automatic filling, tabbing, labeling, packaging, and other essential processes.
Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment.
Troubleshoot FACSCount and TruCount equipment as needed.
Generate labels using label printing equipment.
Support bagging, kitting, and bundling in the Packaging process.
Perform visual inspections for critical attributes and defects.
Collect, sanitize, and distribute laboratory glassware and plastic ware.
Dispatch components to production lines promptly.
Maintain logs and documentation.
Uphold Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP), safety regulations, ISO requirements, and company policies.
Participate in Lean Activities for continuous improvement.
Meet daily/weekly/monthly production objectives efficiently and with quality.
Organize schedules to meet departmental goals.
Replenish packaging supplies and manage materials.
Process packaging data in SAP and other database systems.
Adhere to department guidelines and procedures.
Promote a safe work environment and participate in EHS programs.
Active participation in the Daily Management System.
Provide recommendations for quality improvement, cost reduction, and increased production capability.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong organizational skills and task prioritization.
Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Mechanical equipment knowledge and PLC machinery familiarity preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
Proficient in computer applications, email, and office software.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Mathematical skills and measurement conversions.
Familiarity with GMP, QSR, or ISO requirements is a plus.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma and minimum one year of manufacturing or mechanical experience.
Mental and Physical Demands:

Apply rational systems to solve problems and manage stress.
Physically capable of lifting, carrying, handling, and operating equipment.
Balancing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching may be required.
Standing, walking, fingering, and depth perception/visual color discrimination.
Exposure to cold temperatures, noise, vibration, and hazards.
Working Environment:

Constantly performed indoors with exposure to cold temperatures.
Noise, vibration, mechanical equipment, and electrical hazards.
Dust and atmospheric conditions.
