Job Title : Administrative Assistant Location: The Learning Center |43-82 Vernon Blvd, Long Island City, NY 11101 Schedule: The contractor will needto support classes that are in person when they are scheduled, but can do hybrid as appropriate. Working Hours:7:30 am 3:30 pm or 8am 4pm (depending on class schedule) Pay Range: $35 - $50/hr Responsibilities: Manage all training activities related to scheduling, enrollment, attendance, communication and evaluation of leadership, performance management, career development and conflict management courses on the Learning Management System (LMS). Monitor course enrollment to ensure maximum capacity is achieved. Ensure course offerings/seating meet/address core business demands/needs. Coordinate course logistics, including pre-course email communications; ordering/securing training materials; providing course rosters; setting up training rooms or virtual learning spaces; and partnering with facilitators to record attendance and course evaluations. Design, collect and monitor evaluation data from participants and stakeholders on the effectiveness of professional and workforce development initiatives. Act as the point of contact for external requests and calls to TLC, including requests for technical training. Build protective relationships and collaborate effectively with internal team, customers and external business partners. Provide oversight of the TLC revenue process by partnering with TLC advisors to monitor attendance of external parties in technical training classes; and submitting external party attendance and costs to Corporate Accounting for invoicing. Provide updates, progress reports, and status reports on projects and areas of responsibility. Stay abreast of the Learning & Development industry trends to bring in and disseminate cutting edge practices in training/professional development/education. Assist with design, development, and delivery of training courses. Troubleshoot LMS, enrollment and accessibility issues. Perform the marketing functions for TLC. Provide reports on training data upon request. Perform other related tasks and assignments as required. Facilitate leadership and career development training courses and workshops. Qualifications: Experience with Learning Management System Administration. Self-motivated, team-oriented with the ability to work independently. High level of professional ownership and accountability Strategic Problem-solving Strong proficiency in MS Office; including creating pivot tables Required Education/ Experience: High School Diploma/GED & 5 years of relevant work experience Preferred Education/ Experience: Associate's Degree & 4 years of relevant work experience.
