**Job Title: Live-In Line Cook - Southern, Midwestern, and Tex-Mex Cuisine** **Location: Jelm, CO 82063** **Job Description:** This unique opportunity offers the chance to live and work in the natural beauty of a Colorado ranch while honing your culinary skills in specific cuisines. The successful candidate will play a key role in our guest satisfaction and overall ranch experience. We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and passionate Line Cook specializing in Southern, Midwestern, and Tex-Mex cuisines to join our dynamic culinary team at our ranch in Jelm, CO. Live-in position from Monday-Friday, with all room and board covered. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare and serve high-quality dishes in Southern, Midwestern, and Tex-Mex styles. - Set up kitchen stations and ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards. - Exhibit expert knowledge of traditional cooking techniques and ingredients in the cuisines mentioned. - Work with Executive Chef in menu planning and development. - Manage inventory, ensuring timely ordering and proper storage of supplies. - Communicate and coordinate with fellow staff to ensure guest satisfaction. **Benefits:** - Living accommodations on-site from Monday to Friday. - All meals provided (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). - Days off on Saturdays, with half-days or less on Sundays. **Qualifications:** - A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Line Cook, preferably in Southern, Midwestern, and Tex-Mex cuisines. - Strong knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen. - Manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils. - Team player with good communication skills. **Skills:** - Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. - Strong understanding of various cooking methods and ingredients. - Creative problem-solving skills.## | |
