JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Facilities Manager for our client in Fairfax, VA! Pay rate: 23.00 ? Day to Day Responsibilities: o Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients. Attends client meetings. o Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial work. Reviews work orders to ensure that assignments are completed. o Responsible for facilities inspections and reports. o Coordinates and manages moves, adds and change activities. o Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects. o Manages capital projects. Prepares capital project and operating budget and variance reports. o Manages vendor relationships and trains vendors on work order and billing procedures. Responsible for invoice processing and accuracy of cost center coding. o Uses pc and/or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training. o Provides process and procedure training. o Conducts financial/business analysis including preparation of reports. o Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial work. o Other duties may be assigned. ? Years? Experience Required: 4+ Years ? Education Requirements: Associates degree or Bachelor?s degree preferred with focus on business, technical or management areas. ? Systems/Software Proficiencies: Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use work order system. ? Working knowledge of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems. Working knowledge of leases, contracts and related documents. ? Certifications: Facility Management certification preferred ? Top 5 Must have Skills: o Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet/internet. Ability to use work order systems. o Working knowledge of architectural, electrical and mechanical systems. o Working knowledge of leases, contracts, and related documents. o Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. o Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. ? Top 3 Nice to Have Skills: o Associates degree or Bachelor?s degree preferred with focus on business, technical or management areas. o Prior supervisory experience preferred. ?
