Job Description
Seeking an Injury Prevention Program Manager to support our growing team. You will be responsible for providing injury prevention solutions to our employees in an industrial setting. Your background in healthcare, sports medicine or athletic training will be key to providing these solutions.
We are looking for motivated, professional and outgoing self-starters with a passion to serve others. This role requires the ability to work with a team and autonomously to deliver value to our employees. The primary function of this position will be to interact with employees and coach them on ways to perform their tasks in a manner which supports their overall safety and health. You will have regular interactions with client management, operations supervisors, safety teams, occupational safety professionals and the internal Client team.

Responsibilities:
Provide coaching on health-related issues to help participants decrease likelihood of injury, optimize movement, and achieve personal wellness goals. Coaching may include soft tissue management for physical issues, nutrition recommendations, fitness and early intervention options.
Present education to individuals and groups regarding injury prevention, biomechanics and health or wellness topics.
Perform job task evaluations to identify and mitigate for injury risks.
Provide on-site incident triage services for employees that report a potential injury to management.
Manage the worker?s compensation program for injured employees, including providing the first report of injury and coordinating return to work.
Evaluate functional capacity of employees returning from injury / illness against established physical job demands to determine ability to work safely in that position.
Develop rapport and trust with employees, field supervisors and mid-level management.
Deliver regular program updates to internal supervisor and client management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in health, wellness or exercise related field (e.g., Exercise Science, Athletic Training, Kinesiotherapy, Nutrition, Health Promotions or Allied Health equivalent) is preferred.
Proper certification/licensure at time of employment (e.g., certified Athletic Trainer, Kinesiologist, Exercise Physiologist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant or similar)
Minimum of 3 years of applied work experience in industrial or clinical settings preferred.
Ability to stand / walk for extended periods while interacting with employees. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Client service experience preferred.
