Description

Join our team as a Manufacturing Associate, where your primary focus will be to meticulously pack roasted coffee, ensuring the final presentation meets the highest quality standards. If you're passionate about precision, quality control, and being part of a dynamic production environment, this role is perfect for you. This is an 8 week assignment, great for someone looking to get some experience in the manufacturing field.

As a Manufacturing Associate, you'll play a vital role in our daily operations by packaging roasted coffee using state-of-the-art production equipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will contribute to our inventory control and overall product excellence. Your solid understanding of good manufacturing practices and adherence to our certified organic quality control program will be integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence.

This role will involve operating weigh and fill machines, semi-automatic packaging equipment, and collaborating with various tools such as labelers, tapers, lift tables, manual pallet jacks, and material transfer carts. You will handle packaging materials of different sizes and configurations, following established procedures for materials handling.

What to know about the Manufacturing Associate role:
? Monday - Friday
? 7:45 AM - 4:30 (or until the production line finishes - so potentially 5:30/6:00 PM)
? $18.00/ HR

Expectations:
? Preferably, one year of manufacturing experience or equivalent in a fast-paced
environment.
? Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and mechanical aptitude will be advantageous.
? Reliable attendance and dependability are essential.
? Proficiency in reading and basic math skills are required.
? Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand for 8 hours a day, perform bending,
reaching, squatting, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
? Exceptional attention to detail is a must.
? Strong verbal communication skills are necessary.
? Team player with the ability to collaborate respectfully in small teams.
? Actively participates in promoting safety and maintaining a secure work environment.
? Ability to work in a fragrance-free environment and adhere to the company's no-smoking
policy.
