JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting management with the life cycle of all products on the company websites. Work with several cross-functional teams to accomplish duties in the following areas:
Accurately write product descriptions and validate attributes for all new product,
perform product maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Prepare Products for Sale

Gathers and compiles product information from various information sources; clean and standardize data

Organize product content; create descriptions for all new product accurately

Correspond with vendors and buying offices regarding discrepancies; resolve issues as needed

Maintain documentation of content entry processes

Performs any other projects related to PIM as required

Maintaining Site Content

Audit websites to ensure that images and product descriptions are accurate

Assist with site maintenance; correcting descriptions and attributes as needed

Review image postings for errors and report any changes needed

Managing product data within PIM

Maintain the product database performance by troubleshooting problems and setting standards

Uphold FTC Regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

Self-motivated team player with the ability to coordinate workload independently and complete tasks in accordance with deadlines

Able to multi-task, work independently and interact effectively cross-functionally to get necessary information and assets

Thoroughness in executing tasks and communicating status cross functionally as needed

Excellent written, oral and proofreading skills

Strong computer knowledge and skills

Creativity and teamwork required

Able to shift priorities as needed, which happens often

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

College degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Retailing, or related field

1-2 years of related experience is beneficial

Working knowledge of Google Workspace programs

Working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence is a plus

Prior experience in Sitecore is a strong plus

Prior experience in AODocs or document management is a stong plus


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Zale Corporation guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
