CorTech is seeking to hire a Community Engagement Communications Specialist for our client in Nashville, TN!

As part of the Client Healthcare Enterprise Brand Communications team, the Community Engagement Communications Specialist will work collaboratively with the community engagement team, to create and consult on communications that support the Client Healthcare brand story, as well as community engagement strategies, initiatives and programs. The specialist?s work will play a significant role in telling the Client Healthcare story to diverse internal and external audiences. Communications include, but are not limited to, reports, publications, web pages, emails, social media postings, videos and more.

Responsibilities

Write and edit communications that support community engagement and the Client Healthcare story

Create and/or consult on communications materials for internal stakeholders mainly in community engagement, but also including service lines, development/M&A, marketing, HR and others

Work with community engagement subject-matter experts and communications partners to ensure that messaging, imagery, and communications are in alignment with corporate style and brand guidelines

Proofread communications materials for consistency, adherence to style/messaging guide, and factual accuracy

Experience with reporting/dashboard creation and presentation of insights

Support and co-manage other special projects to further departmental and organizational goals as needed

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor?s degree in relevant field plus 5 or more years? experience in communications, content strategy or related field; experience producing communication related to community engagement or corporate social responsibility preferred
Background and prior experience with community engagement/foundations or non-profit or NGO work is preferred; familiarity with person-centered language and feature-type content
Proficient in AP style
Experience working from a brand style guide; ability to adapt tone and voice to adjust to various audiences and messages
Excellent writing skills and editorial ability; can write in easy-to-understand language
Ability to adapt writing style for different media, including print, digital, event scripting, and video
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Knowledge of design and multimedia software such as Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Understanding of how communications tactics contribute to a broader brand strategy
Must be self-motivated; deadline-oriented.
