JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Field Technician for our client in the Pryor area! Benefits Available! $21.73/Hour 40 hrs/wk. Summary: Field Technician responsible for collecting and labeling decommissioned telecom hardware, with travel involved. Collaborates remotely with a lead, follows safety procedures, and handles ESD components. Typically Monday-Friday. Job Title - Field Technician Job Description The Field Technician will be required to drive to locations within a reasonable distance of their home location for the purpose of collecting decommissioned telecommunication hardware, ensuring they are identified with maximum accuracy and efficiency. Once identified, they will package and label the parts and organize them on a pallet to then be handed off to the courier. They will be assisted by a lead through DMs and video calls. Moderate travel will be required. Typically, Monday-Friday. Duties & Responsibilities Material Handler Duties: - Meet with the Project Lead(s) for planning on a weekly basis - Excellent communication on a daily/hourly basis - Accurately identify parts with the right part and serial number - Ensure all parts are packaged appropriately and labelled accurately - Ensure to note any damaged parts - Assist with ensuring the integrity of system and physical inventory - Adhere to Client Decom Project processes and procedures - Attend all team meetings as required - Adhere to all aspects of health and safety in the Colo or any other space they are working in including safe handling of ESD components - Management reserves the right to add or delete duties as deemed appropriate - Additional projects/tasks assigned by the Customer and approved by Project Lead(s) and/or Program Manager(s) - Direct point of contact with the customer - Keeping the customer and other stakeholders on the project satisfied and impressed with the operations performance providing them with the highest quality of service - Assist with or drive product refurbishment activities as called upon - Assist with product configuration/refurbishment documentation Qualifications Higher level qualification (preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics) Experience -Computer literate, intermediate level Word/Excel/Mail (Google docs a bonus) -Experience in or strong practical knowledge of electronics/telecommunication hardware -Experience of inventory control and management systems -Working without direct supervision -Experience working in a fast-paced, volatile environment -Experience handling and resolving customer queries -Warehouse experience with material handling and inventory control is a plus Skills -Excellent verbal and written communication in English -Excellent personal organization and business administration skills -Attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy -Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities -Ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales. Other -Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods -Ability to travel abroad, offsite meetings, company related functions, etc. with short notice. -Valid driver's license and minimum level of auto insurance coverage required. |
