Essential Job Functions: ? Full cycle accounts payable for the corporate office (approximately 1,200 invoices per month) ? review invoices, expense reports and check requests, verify account coding and vendor, input invoices, match invoices to receipts and purchase orders as applicable ? Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and deficiencies with vendors, plants, and corporate personnel before entry ? Ensure documents have adequate approvals and adhere to company policies ? Perform check runs weekly for all company locations ? 44,000 checks printed annually ? Perform ACH/EFT runs twice a week ? Prepare steel payments, wires, and foreign currency wires ? Prepare various journal entries including accruals ? Prepare various monthly account analyses ? Assist with annual 1099 processing ? Assist with audits ? Open and distribute mail for AP ? Special projects Education, Skills, and Experience: ? High School Diploma required, Associate or bachelor?s degree in accounting, financing, or business administration preferred ? 3+ years? experience in accounts payable with full cycle accounts payable experience ? Proficient in data entry and high-volume activity ? AP Automation experience ? Experience with utilizing PO?s and 3-way match voucher processing ? Familiar with sales and use tax accruals for purchases ? Strong organizational skills ? Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy ? Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal ? The ability to work independently ? Team Player ? Ability to multi-task ? Proficient in Microsoft Office, (Word, Outlook, and intermediate MS Excel skills) ? Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment ? Enterprise One or large ERP software experience, preferred ? Manufacturing experience, a plus | |
