You'll follow experimental procedures, effectively communicate experimental results, and tackle any additional tasks necessary to meet commercial development objectives. Requirements: Necessary Skills: You should have laboratory experience, a strong grasp of safe chemical handling, and the ability to maintain detailed experiment notes. Bonus Skills: Experience with compounding materials and the use of test equipment such as viscometers and force testing equipment is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is also beneficial. Physical Capabilities: The candidate should be capable of lifting 30 pounds and willing to handle hazardous chemicals safely. Operating chemical equipment and wearing personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, lab coat, and safety shoes, is a must. Education: An Associate's degree in a scientific field with 2+ years of experience is strongly preferred. However, candidates with a high school diploma and 3+ years of relevant experience will also be considered.
