JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Media Planner/Buyer for our client in Virginia! Pay rate: 26.00 This position will report to the Media Manager, Showroom. This position will focus on paid traditional media planning and buying for our Residential Showroom Builder business. M-F 8a-5p EST but flexible ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Formulate branch/corporate traditional paid media plans based on core target customer ? All aspects of media planning and buying including: o Target audience research and analysis o Development of media strategies and objectives and media plan o Media negotiations and buying o Media plan execution, maintenance, measurement, and optimization o Financial management including budget, media Co-op utilization and billing o Working with internal teams to provide creative specs, asset needs and deadlines in support of traditional media plans ? Must include broad range of experience in traditional planning and buying including print, radio, TV, outdoor and podcast ? Negotiate, develop, and execute added-value media for all media plans ? Develop strong working relationships with media vendor partners ? Work strategically and collaboratively with key stakeholders including marketing business partners, in-house agency partners, finance and communications ? Effectively sets and manages deadlines and receives feedback ? Continual identification and vetting of new media channels and partners KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: ? Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field ? 7+ years of professional media planning/buying experience in an in-house or advertising agency environment. Media and planning experience in broadcast, audio, print and outdoor. Working knowledge of digital media planning and buying and how it holistically works with traditional paid media ? Ability to use a variety of advertising analytics tools, databases and spreadsheet programs to track and manage advertising campaigns ? Advanced working knowledge of media planning and buying tools including MRI Simmons, Nielsen, Telmar, SQAD and SRDS ? Fast learner with strong negotiation and analytical skills ? High level of accuracy and attention to detail ? Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and personalities ? Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment including virtual work ? Understanding of production for TV, radio and digital ? MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams ? Working knowledge of English language to concisely understand a wide range of messages to multiple customer types across different industries ? Think outside the box to seek innovative solutions and new practices ? Ability to work well independently and as a team ? Poise and maturity to interact with management ? Excellent communication skills (oral, written, video and telephone skills) ? Effective listening skills ? Ability to work full-time remote ? Accepts responsibility, is self-motivated and accountable for achieving targets ? Results-oriented, excellent ability to utilize and manage the organization?s resources to achieve goals | |
