Job Title: Houseman Pay: $25k a year Location:Albany, GA Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Role Purpose: As a Houseman at our extended-stay property, you will be a key part of our housekeeping team. You will work to ensure that our hotel maintains excellent cleanliness standards, provides a comfortable environment for our guests, and supports the housekeeping staff in their day-to-day tasks. Key Accountabilities: - Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and stairwells - Assist housekeeping staff by delivering fresh linens, towels, and cleaning supplies to various floors and rooms - Safely move furniture and fixtures for cleaning or repair - Perform light maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, fixing minor issues, and keeping supply rooms organized - Remove trash and soiled linens from guest rooms and common areas - Replace amenities in rooms and ensure that rooms are well-stocked with essentials like toiletries and coffee supplies - Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring guest satisfaction - Handle special requests from guests staying for an extended period and assist in making their stay more comfortable - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Key Skills & Experiences: - Prior experience in an extended-stay hotel or similar setting is strongly preferred - Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with guests and team members - Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks and use basic tools - High level of attention to detail, with a focus on quality and guest satisfaction - Physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs - Basic understanding of health and safety regulations - Team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well with others to achieve common goals L | |
