JobsRUs.com is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk for a premier manufacturer in Beloit, WI. . $23.00 to $24.00 per hour depending on experience The role of the AP/AR Clerk involves providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. This role is to complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, receivables, and Payroll. Duties and Responsibilities: Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc. Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances Maintaining historical records Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing paychecks Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports Continuing to improve the payment process Record payments to customers' accounts and respond to accounts receivable inquiries. Executes all system transactions relating to customer payments and remittances including assistance related to invoicing, statements, bank processing, A/R account adjustments and write-offs. Contacts customers, sales reps and credit management to attempt to clarify payments received without adequate documentation. Researches and resolves cash on account and other unidentified payment situations using multiple system tools. This position may be responsible to support certain specialty areas including NSF/Return Items, credit cards, ACH, wires, National Account functions and other duties as assigned.
